About St. Patrick's

Our Community

A way to discover the essence of St. Patrick's is to read some of the thoughts and feelings of our parishioners such as..."This is my spiritual home because I feel the presence of God... Our church is a sanctuary for me... We can laugh at ourselves; we are serious about God; we take our commitment to one another seriously." As you visit the pages of our site, you will find additional quotes that should reveal more about us.

Father David Stringer

Father David is focused on spiritual formation with an emphasis on using the traditions of our faith to explore the riches of being open to God's call into relationship. We hear him say "stay awake" and "listen" as he helps us explore and respond to God through his preaching and teaching. He also encourages us through his own walk, his humor and his sensitivity to our personal concerns.

Another View

Father David's articles help us experience and see the scriptures in thoughtful ways. His focus is to stir a longing in us for God's presence in our lives. More than that, it is a focus on recapturing the wholeness lost when we create some artificial boundary between ourselves and God. Please click here to read his most recent Another View articles.
