We are a community that celebrates creative people and the process of creating;  that values and nurtures new ideas; and that recognizes the role artists and the creative process can have in enhancing our worship and our lives.

The Art and Artists of St. Patrick's

Saint Patrick’s might seem an unlikely haven for the arts, but creative types have been coming here for years. This is a place where artists of all disciplines can find encouragement to work on their art: painters and writers, composers, photographers and poets, sculptors, scholars, and songwriters.

The products of our artists work — paintings, songs, poems, designs, films and photographs — can be seen in frequent events held to showcase their work. The process of creating a work of art is a mystery. What compels a person to commit those first words to a blank  page, or those first brush strokes to a canvas. The answer is different for every artist in our community, but we believe that their results honor the GLORY OF GOD.

(Right) The centerpiece of the sanctuary is the magnificent nine foot tall bronze Christus Rex sculpture. It was commissioned in 1983, and designed to reflect members vision of Christ, as described in essays submitted to the artist.
