ST. PATRICK'S HAS CLASSES FOR ALL AGES
Programs for Adults - Quick Read
9:15am on Sunday Morning
~  Dream Group continues to meet in the Library
~ Three Separate Tracks will be offered on Sunday morning unless a special class brings us all together. Click here to see the various offerings.

On 8/28/11, all adults are invited to the Nave at 9:15 to hear Dr. Joe Monti speak on Christian Ethics. This will be in lieu of regular Adult Education classes.

There will not be Adult Ed on 9/4 (Labor Day) and 9/11 (Parish Retreat) at St. Patrick's.

Fr. Dick will lead us in an Instructed Eucharist on 9/18/11 in lieu of Adult Education classes.

Regular classes for Adults begin on 9/25/11.

For Children (2 1/2 to 11)
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

St. Patrick's is known nationwide for its leadership in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). This Christian education program recognizes that all children have a relationship with their Creator and as adults we are called to facilitate and encourage this relationship.

If you are not familiar with the program, or not sure what level your child belongs in, please email Marsha Huelsbeck, Director of Catechesis at marsha.huelsbeck@stpat.net.

For Youth
Rite 13

The 3 year Rite 13 segment, for 6th, 7th and 8th graders, focuses on celebrating individuality and creativity. The Rite 13 liturgy (A celebration of Manhood and Womanhood) is the community expression of this emphasis.

The Rite 13 Mentors for this year are Nancy Dusenberry, Biff Harter and Jacki Kirsch in Room 15.

For Youth
J2A

J2A, for 8th and 9th graders, engages youth with skills and critical thinking involved with adulthood. There is also a spiritual journey toward making an adult affirmation of faith. At the end of the program the members are invited but not required to become confirmed in the Episcopal Church.

The J2A class made a pilgrimage in June of 2011 to New Mexico.

The Mentors for this year's class are Gray and Jean Temple, CeCe and Gerry Balboni, Cowen Harter and Bill Rankin.

Young Adults
YEA

YEA, for 10th, 11th and 12th graders, assists older teens to discern and carry out a ministry within their church or in the larger community. Focusing on transitions in their own lives-leaving home, becoming independent and developing personal beliefs, the youth are encouraged to enter all areas of parish life and claim their status as adults in the church. The program lasts for two or three years and is considered complete upon high school graduation.

This year's Mentors are Chris Bright, David White, Meredith Miller. They meet in Room 16.

Prisms

Prisms will kick-off after the Parish retreat on Sunday, 9/18. They'll sing, learn and take a look at the same Gospel that we're hearing only especially tailored for their younger eyes, ears and hearts. They'll get stories of and by Jesus in their own language and with some interactive fun.

Watch for the Priest to invite kids, ages 5-5th grade, to process out right after the Epistle. We will meet in the Chapel and return at the offering of Peace in time for Communion.

So, tell your kids to join us for PRISMS and pray with us as we offer our children a fresh opportunity to open to God's love in and for them.

Open to ALL

Wednesday Night Supper and Bible Study happens every Wednesday at 6:15pm in the Parish Hall. Join us for interesting topics and good food. The Fall Supper Series kicks off on 9/14 with Episcopal Essentials, led by Fr. Dick. All are welcome, no reservations are required.
