Group reading and discussion.

Dreams: A Way to Listen to God

Dream Group, Library
Brenda Marquis
Our Sunday morning dream group provides a safe and sacred space to share dreams and help participants find spiritual fulfillment in their dreams. We will use a group process to assist the dreamer in determining how God, the dream giver, might be speaking to them.  We will discuss various elements of dreams, such as how dreams use symbols and metaphors to communicate.  This group does not interpret dreams but rather uses the structured setting to enable the dreamer to explore and honor dreams. All are welcome.

Looking at the Lectionay

Rev. Penny Nash, Room 8
Class members will discuss the Sunday lectionary readings to discern the way they are chosen, shaped and work in a way to move us through the Advent season. Reverned Penny Nash is the facilitator. Bring your Bibles and or bulletins.

Theotokos:

The God Bearer
Dianne Grove, Fireside
In this class we will listen to the voice of Mary as it has spoken through the ages, informing us, encouraging us, challenging us and shaping us into vessels ready and willing to bear the Christ within. We will engage in prayer, discussion, icon meditation, scripture reflection and holy listening and, in our hearts, we will create a sacred and receptive space to welcome the divine mystery: the Word becoming flesh and dwelling among us.

The Sacred Music of Christmas

This is a special program to be held on the the Sunday after Christmas, presented by Reverend Penny Nash. Plan to meet in the Fireside area in the Parish Hall on December 28th at 9:00 am.
